The MooBella System is a virtual ice cream store in the space of a vending machine and it was one of the first products demonstrated today. Gently whirring in the background, the machine took orders through its front-mounted touch-screen interface. At the direction of its presenters, the MooBella system produced a perfectly formed and bowled scoop of strawberry ice cream.

Stood in line for a few minutes until I got a turn to try out this “Ben & Jerry’s in a box.” After making my selections and waiting for approximately one minute I was delivered an extruded scoop of coffee ice cream that was creamy and delicious.
One of the company’s representatives was there and answered a few questions for me. In terms of freezing/preparing the scoop - it’s done on a frozen slab similar to what you might find at your local Cold Stone Creamery. That part of the process takes just ten seconds. Capacity - a single machine can serve a couple of hundred customers between recharges - which is performed with pre-packaged, pre-formulated mix bags.
