Google to Blend Gmail, Google Talk into Gmail Chat

Google is expected to announce on Tuesday its new Gmail Chat, which will join its instant-messaging service with its email service. Gmail Chat will be available Tuesday to an unspecified number of Gmail users (me, me!?), and to all users of the system by the end of February.
