People love to be different. Why else would we see the annoing red laser pointer now available as an annoying yellow laser pointer? To those subjected to PowerPoints thoughtfully highlighted by the red laser pointer, here’s a chance to wake up and see yellow instead of red.

If you check you’ll see that 593.5nm is orange not yellow.

FYI: These yellow lasers are made from two separate laser beams, a 1064nm and a 1342nm laser beam which produces the 593.5nm orange color. I own one and it’s around 2mW. Got it from Tech Lasers, they sell the cheapest lasers out there. It’s awesome! And just in case people don’t know, there are also blue and purple lasers.
