Iomega’s Multimedia Hard Drive Plays Directly on Your TV

Today Iomega introduced the ScreenPlay Multimedia hard drive. It’s a USB 2.0 drive, with the capability of playing directly to your TV without a PC. It comes with a remote control, AV cable, USB cable and power adapter.

The drive is only 60GB in size, so its likely use (which is emphasized by the “Entertainment to go!” tagline on the Iomega site) is to take movies, music or pictures along with you this Christmas when you go off to Grandma’s house.
