Sony PSP, Freelance Contracts and the IBM X41 Tablet PC

Today I’ve written about security issues with using the Sony PSP to access a wireless network, where to find good sample freelance and service provider contracts on the Web (for free) and my thoughts after using a Lenovo IBM X41 Tablet PC device for a month.

The article on wireless networks and the Sony PSP can be found at:

All about the Sony PSP and wireless network.

It also includes a discussion of wireless incompatibilities, what a WEP password is and specific workarounds if you need to upgrade Sony PSP firmware via the network.

Another piece talks about the contracts required for freelance workers:

Finding free contracts for freelance and contract work

Lots of good stuff in this short article, including a pointer to a book that is a smart $20 purchase for anyone in this field, either a freelancer or someone hiring contractors.

Finally, I’ve been working with an IBM Lenovo X41 Tablet PC for a month now, and while my initial thoughts were on the skeptical side, I admit, I’m coming around and have already found at least one very compelling application that almost makes buying the $2000 computer worthwhile unto itself. More importantly, I’ve found and can now fairly evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of both Windows for Tablet PC and the IBM X41 Tablet PC device itself.

You can read my thoughts at:

Rating the Lenovo IBM X41 Tablet PC

and, of course, add your own comments and thoughts there too.
