Wait a minute. Is iRiver looking to get into the PVR market all of a sudden? Well, not exactly. They do appear however, to be interested in seeing what can be done in the support market for Portable Multimedia Centers.

TV on the go? In theory, the concept is genius, and iRiver says it is looking to make it an affordable reality.

This week, the portable digital device provider announced that it has teamed up with TiVo Inc. to offer a service called TiVoToGo with the PMC-120 Portable Multimedia Center.

Customers who purchase the PMC-120 through iRiver.com will receive a TiVo Series2 DVR and one year of TiVo service as part of the “ultimate TiVo-to-go bundle.”
