Hitachi Unveils The World’s First Terabyte DVD Recorder

First the good news: Hitachi has created the biggest King Kong PVR of all time (until the next guy comes along and tops it.) The bad news: they won’t be selling it in the US and Europe, because PVR demand is low.

Some facts from Reuters:
“Hitachi Ltd. unveiled the world’s first hard disk drive/DVD recorder that can store one terabyte of data, or enough to record about 128 hours of high-definition digital broadcasting.”
