Java 2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 4 released

I tried to find a suitable page somewhere on the Sun site to quote the appropriate text from - but it appears that the Sun site is so uber-geeky that even a geek like myself can’t find one. So I’ll put my two-fingered typing skills to work….The release of Java 2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 4 appears to be a bugfix release - but there’s a lot there that I don’t understand as I’m not a programmer. There is a memory leak under Windows that is corrected, as well as issues on Linux, Tiger, and Solaris. Also, 64 bit Windows Server 2003 on both AMD and Intel is now supported (according to the release notes - the Supported System Configurations page still says “Coming Soon!” AND no mention on either page about whether Windows XP Professional 64 bit is supported).
