How to create a new screen name on AOL?

I need to create a new screen name in AOL but am not sure how to do so. Can you help me out?
First off, let me say that I don’t help kids try to circumvent protections that their parents have put in place: if you’re a minor and want to foil the protections your folks have created, then you’d be much, much better off just talking with them and asking for permission. There’s a reason that they’re watching out for you…
Having said that, let’s go through the process of creating a new screen name on AOL, because if you have a parental controls screen name, you won’t be able to do this anyway, and if you don’t, well, then you’re legit.
Log in to America Online (AOL) as usual, then choose Account Settings –> Screen Name. (I’m using a Mac for these examples, but the Windows version is almost exactly the same. On the Mac, the Account Settings option is found on the “AOL” menu).
Now you’ll see something like this…

oh emm gee i so0o need a new screename.. but the only thing that’s wrong is that i can’t log into my master screename or any other one.. how do i create another screename without logging into my master screename?

i had this screen name on my computor but had problems signing on to aol had technical advive which enabled me to sign on to aol but this screen name was deleted i want to reinstate it how do i do it

I LOVE AOL AND HAVE BEEN A MEMBER SINCE 1997. II HAVE AN EMAIL SCREEN NAME THAT I ESTABLISHED MANY YEARS AGO IN MY ACCOUNT THAT SHOWS UP IN MY AOL MAIL SIGN IN DROP DOWN BUT DOES NOT SHOW UP IN MY SET OF SCREEN NAMES LATELY ALTHOUGH AOL SAYS I HAVE 7 SCREEN NAMES BUT ONLY 6 SHOW UP. I TRIED TO RESTORE THIS EMAIL SCREEN NAME AND AOL SAID I DIDN’T HAVE ANY SCREEN NAMES TO RESTORE? UNFORTUNATELY, I CANNOT RECALL THE PASSWORD I ASSIGNED TO THIS SCREEN NAME AND THEREFORE WHEN I LOOGIN AND ASK TO GET THE PASSWORD, I GO THROUGH THE PROCESS AND THEN IT SAYS” YOUR PASSWORD WAS SENT TO THE ACCOUNT LISTED AND YOU CAN OPEN THE LINK THERE. HOW CAN I OPEN THE LINK THERE WHEN I CANNOT OPEN THE SCREEN NAME ACCOUNT THEY SENT IT TO? HOW STUPID IS THAT? I JUST DON’T GET IT. I HAVE BEEN TO EVERY HELP SECTION AND COULD NOT TROUBLE SHOOT THIS ISSUE NOT EMAIL AOL FOR HELP WHICH IS A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT BECAUSE THEY USED TO HAVE HELP TO HELP YOU WITH YOUR ISSUE NOW THEY JUST KEEP REFERRING YOU TO OTHER FAQ’S.
