Comdex, once the pinnacle of technology shows, was losing its spark for years. Attendance, both show-floor visitors and vendors, was dropping faster than Enron stock. So, the show producers gave out that they were dropping the show ‘to tweak it a little’. That was two years ago. Their word is now that it will return in 2006. Why? Can’t they tell that Gnomedex is everything that Comdex SHOULD be?
