Dave, you’ve sold me! I want a Gmail account so I can use a web-based email system that integrates smoothly into my regular mailbox. But how do I get an account? Can you just give me one, please? :-)

A week ago I would have said that I couldn’t, because Gmail is invitation only and I’ve always coasted along with just a few invitations I could send out at any time. Now, however, I suddenly have 50 invitations available, so I can say “YES!” to you!
