Last week World Wrestling Entertainment launched a new service to the fans of the Monday Night Raw television show. Now fans can interact with other wrestling fans while the show is going on via the new WWE Raw Interactive service.
Fans also have a chance at a weekly prize given out by the WWE each Monday night, and a chance at a grand prize as well. The grand prize is a trip for two to Wrestlemania 21.
Our fans are so passionate about WWE that they actively seek new ways to interact with the brand and its Superstars,” said Kurt Schneider, WWE Executive Vice President, Marketing. “We know many of them watch RAW while emailing their friends or participating in web chats about the show. This interactive experience puts them right in the middle of the action.”
For those unaware, using GoldPocket Interactive, the same company that provides interactive TV-web software for clients like GSN, fans will get to take part in opinion polls, predict the winners of matches, have access to exclusive information and participate in RAW trivia. Participants will collect points for the chance to win weekly prizes, as well as a grand prize trip to WrestleMania.
Results of polls and the scoreboard will be displayed on the RAW telecast as well.
There will also be live chat about the show in the ITV console.
