Well it looks like the settlement between Apple and the Beatles could be huge. It seems that back in 1991 Apple Computers made an agreement with Apple Corps that Apple Computers would steer clear of the music business. Can we say oops?
Word is that a settlement between Apple Computer and the Beatles’ record company Apple Corps is near, and it could be on the large side. In 1991, Apple Computer and Apple Corps signed an agreement forbidding the computer maker from entering the music business. Not long after the launch of the iTunes Music Store last year, Apple Corps filed suit, alleging that Apple was in violation of the agreement.
