MPAA sues DVD chip manufacture

Beware DVD chip makers! If you make chips that can circumvent copy protection, the Motion Picture Association of America will work their hardest to get your butt in a sling!
“The Motion Picture Association of America have said that it has sued two chipmakers for selling DVD chips to companies that are flouting copy-protection rules. The lawsuit is the second to target DVD hardware makers and is part of a new campaign by the trade association to crack down on the spread of disc players that deviate from a Hollywood-approved system of copy control features.”
