Defcon From the Inside Out

If you haven’t heard about DEFCON yet, then you’ve been in a coma for the past couple of weeks. For that few, let me explain.
Once a year (or so) a large number of hackers, crackers, security ‘experts’, Feda, and other assorted interested persons get together to talk about the current state of security as it relates to anything digital. And ways to get around that protection.
So, it’s hardly a surprise that it generates a great deal of talk about holes that have been discovered. Sort of plastering the evening news about the unlocked doors. It’s not too often, though, that we get any kind of look behind the closed doors of DEFCON without actually being there.
One such look comes in the form of the official blog of F-Secure, Inc., a supplier of security software for PC’s running Windows or Linux. You can find their blog at- http://www.f-secure.com/weblog/
The look is complete with photos and details a number of new threats to such things as WLAN’s and Bluetooth phones.
