Social Networking - clean fun or dangerous habit

David Strom of Internet Week gives his thoughts on social networking. Not to be confused with “social engineering“, social networking is using services like Friendster or even online contact management solutions that are commonly used now days. On the surface, it seems like a great idea, right? A new way to “expand your friends network” so to speak. Still, I wonder how safe it really is and do you want to be associated with strangers that may be involved in gosh knows what. Strom has an interesting perspective on this whole paradox that provides for an entertaining read.
