Well Known Spammer Gets A Slap On The Wrist

Even though the New York State Attorney General, Eliot Spitzer had some choice words for the defendants in a spamming lawsuit, Scott Richter only received a slap on the wrist after a deal was reached. One thing to note is that Richter makes his claim to fame by stating that he “earns several million dollars a month in profits.” If this statement even has a thread of truth to it, then you have to wonder how much income is being pulled away from legitimate Internet businesses that do follow the rules.
