Click Fraud - It never really stopped

CNET/News.com discuss an old scam that most of us have probably not seen in awhile, Click Fraud. This is a scam perpetrated when a person aims to defraud an advertising based program such as Google’s Adsense. The perpetrator uses special software designed create the fake “click throughs” hitting the ad’s counter when in reality it is just a piece of software that is creating these fake numbers to fool the the ad company.
