Google acquires Picasa

Google is on the move again with the recent purchase of Picasa. The deal has followed the news that Picasa’s “Hello photo-sharing” software was going to be included with Google’s Blogger service. While it is not completely clear as to what the overall strategy will be with Google’s latest buy, it will be interesting to wait and see what happens as Google continues to acquire key technologies and add them to their collection.
