Survey: Government security tips tough to swallow

“Most admitted in a recent survey that they haven’t adopted all of the “Seven Simple Computer Security Tips” the Department of Homeland Security’s National Infrastructure Protection Center (NIPC) issued in 2002. Half have failed to follow three or more of the guidelines.” Pretty simple stuff - it only costs time, if your home or office network is set up properly. There’s tons of free sotware to do these jobs. If you do any sort of business that you use a computer to help you with, you should follow the tips - if only to help prevent legal troubles.
