“After you remove Windows XP Hotfix - KB840374 (the security update that is documented in Microsoft Security Bulletin MS04-015) from a computer that is running a Japanese version of Windows XP, the Add or Remove Programs tool may appear to stop responding. Nothing happens when you click an item in the Add or Remove Programs window, and you may not be able to close the Add or Remove Programs window.”
