TIP: Customize Explorer View

Ever wonder how to customize what pops up when you open Windows Explorer? This article gives you all the command line switches available and how to use them. It’s written in Microsoftese, but a little playing around will make it all clear.

Basically, you’ll want to create a desktop shortcut for Explorer, then right-click and choose properties. The top box under the Shortcut tab is the one you want to change.
