When you try to start Dungeon Siege: Legends of Aranna, you may receive the following error messages:

Error Code: 2
Couldn’t register C:\DOCUME~1\username\LOCALS~1\Temp\DW27.tmp
Param 1: 0
Param 2: 0

SmarteSECURE has trapped a windows resource error. Please re-run the application.
Additionally, these error messages may occur when you start games other than Dungeon Siege: Legends of Aranna that were purchased through SoftwareToGo systems at CompUSA.
CAUSE
This issue may occur if the game that you are starting has the SmarteSECURE copy protection schema built in to the CD-ROM. The game uses SmartSECURE copy protection to read information off of the disc.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, use one of following methods for the parameters that appear in the error message.”
