KFC: Eatery offers wireless Internet connection as the KFC in Shamokin Dam, one of the first restaurants along the Routes 11-15 “Golden Strip,” is again at the forefront with something new on the menu — wireless Internet access. KFC now offers wireless fidelity or wireless access to the World Wide Web. That makes it what’s known as a “hot spot” in techie slang — a place where wireless signals can be picked up by computers.
