IBM and Real Networks (requires free registration, but this is the complete news item) announced that they are cooperating on creating digital media technologies to create a system for content owners to sell their assets. The two will jointly build, market, and sell a digital media management system. They expect to have the product, which will let companies manage and distribute their assets without having to create the technology from scratch, in the second quarter of this year.
