Flat screen monitor prices have risen due to a shortage of panels, but new factories come on-stream next year. LCD display prices set to fall in 2004 LCD flat-panel monitor sales in Europe have slowed because of an increase in prices, with many potential customers holding off until prices start to fall again, according to display research firm Meko. But supply is likely to outstrip demand early next year, which could allow companies to make savings on monitor purchases if they delay until then.
