Roxio brings Napster to life with October 29th launch date

“For anyone that hasn’t been contacted by Roxio’s new Napster service, its worth knowing that Napster is back, launching an entirely legal beta test of its Napster 2.0 online music service, offering over 500,000 tracks as 99-cent downloads.
The service will begin on October 29th and was brought forward from early next year when access to its site was given another boost (as if it needed it) by having Napster software bundled on the Microsoft XP Media Center 2004 software, launched last week.”
Napster is currently available only within the U.S.
