Electronic Arts has announced that it will soon release The Sims Double Deluxe, a new compilation that includes the original game and two expansion packs, Livin’ Large and House Party. The previous compilation, The Sims Deluxe, was released last fall and included the original game and just one expansion, Livin’ Large. The Sims Double Deluxe is scheduled for release in September. Originally released in 1999, The Sims and its many expansion packs are the best-selling PC game franchise of all time and consistently appear on NPD’s weekly sales charts.
