INSTALLED VISTA ON MY NEW HARD DRIVE..HAD MANY PROBLEMS WITH THE INTERNET DRIVERS…SO I DECIDED TO TO INSTALL MY XP..VISTA WILL NOT LET ME INSTALL…BUT IT LETS ME REINSTALL VISTA WHICH I CANT USE HOW CAN I GET A CLEAN FORMAT

i am having trouble installing my maxtor drive. the express registration screen will not appear. any ideas?

i just bought a new hp computer with windows vista. How do i get my maxtor one touch II to talk to it so i can retrieve my information on maxtor? my maxtor disc doesn’t work - i used to have windows xp.
