for Netscape. According to iexbeta.com (www.iexbeta.com), it appears the Netscape browser will become the neglected orphan stepchild of AOL. With the agreement stipulating that AOL will continue to use IE, there seems no reason for AOL, which recently purchased Netscape, to continue funding the browser which set the stage for a web boom back in 1994.
