“NEC Corp on May 16 announced the first-ever, water-cooled desktop PCs, two new additions to its VALUESTAR TX series.
“The new models have a water-cooling mechanism instead of a CPU fan, a quiet hard disk and other features that make them much quieter than previous models. According to NEC, the VALUESTAR TX VX100/6F is whisper quiet, emitting just 30dB at heavy loads (with the hard disk in idle state), which is quieter than previous VALUESTAR TX models in standby mode.”
