Hitachi multi-layer DVD holds 200 films

Finding hard to manage your DVD collection? Hitachi has developed a new way to store data on DVD disks using multiple layers of data recording, that could enable you to run the disk for 400 hours, the equivalent of appx 200 films.

The downside? The technology would hit the market in 2007.
