Ed Downing wanted a HTPC (Home Theatre Personal Computer) for his living room and came up with this brilliant idea.
“The APEX 500W DVD Player uses a standard IDE DVD drive that is compatible with today’s motherboards. So after gutting it and adding some components this is what I came up with;
Specs:
-EPIA M9000 from VIA includes an 933Mhz embedded Ezra CPU. (C3)
-Geil 512mb 333 Mhz memory
-Seagate 8 gb drive
-Lite On SK 7551 infrared keyboard/mouse combo.”
