Windows XP SP2 Leaked

Neowin.net has got its hands on a leaked beta of the forthcoming Windows XP Service Pack 2, and has a handful of screenshots on offer. It’s lacking the likes of Windows Media Player 9, the forthcoming Windows Messenger 5 (MSN Messenger 6) or DirectX 9.0.
The Register also has news about Service Pack 1b, which will come first and will include Sun’s Java Virtual Machine (the original Service Pack 1 was replaced with SP1a due to legal issues with Microsoft’s own VM).
