Hacking Contest: Follow Up

Several weeks ago I wrote about a hacking contest in Austin, TX. At least one person who posts to slashdot went to the games and reported back. Apparently it was a big disappointment. The graphic display of hacking was primarily represented by single lines being drawn between two boxes on a large screen, the actual exploits used were never discussed and very little of the monitoring software displayed any accurate statistics. However, the reviewer was glad he went.
