I have no idea what they are talking about … the new Apple product line is gaining momentum as they have never done so before. I for one have been a long time Windows user and was probably one of the first people to test out Win95, 2000, XP, and now Vista. I have recently switched to Apple and have found that not only the Mac OSX is everything people make it out to be, the Mac hardware is also that much better than what you could buy from other PC makers on the market today. Even Windows XP runs better on the Macbook Pro than it does on my IBM and/or Dell. The new iPhone line looks totally incredible and has lots of potential (that they have hinted but not announced) in the after sales market, such as software etc. from iTunes. The up and coming OSX Leopard system is full of bells and whistles way ahead of anything Windows has to offer (including Vista), and the whole Apple TV and new Airport Extreme concept is really a great addition to its FrontRow system. I really don’t see where they come off saying that the product line is “skimpy”. As for the Macs are more expensive than PCs … are they sure about that? Maybe they don’t have low level products and compared to low level PC yes they are expensive. However, that is like comparing apples and oranges (no pun intended). if you compare Macs to high end PCs, the hardware pricing is actually quite competitive. Then if you consider the cost of software for Macs and PCs, at the end of the day, its actally cheaper to own a Mac. If nothing else, atleast you do not need Anitvirus software etc. which not only you have to pay extra for, it also wastes your resources and slows down performance while increasing instability etc.
