BlueTooth USB Adapter

A months back (give or take) I ran a story about a USB NIC. I thought this was an interesting follow-up, mainly because of a conversation I had today regarding the direction of technology toward wireless connectivity. Although the article reviewing this unit states it really isn’t all that useful at this point. This adapter only had a range of about 30′ and 1Mbps throughput; not exactly comparable to wired connectivity. I definitely don’t want to give the wrong impression, my next statement is not meant to be a prediction about the immediate future of technology, just where I think it is heading. I think that a wireless setup will become a reality at some point. Already wireless keyboards and mice are on the market (although apparently only a few are truly as good as their wired predecessors). I have heard of wireless screens as well (I’m not referring to the Mira Smart displays either), however I’ve also heard that they aren’t very good yet. When it does become a reality, who wouldn’t prefer a wireless setup?
