Now is just down right disturbing. We’ve all seen Sci-Fi shows where they have control over the weather and quite frankly, if done right, I don’t see any wrong with it. However, I usually make the assumption that the the civilization in question that is controlling the weather actually understands what it is doing. One of the areas of science we have very little ability to predict is the weather. Playing around with complex systems, especially those we depend on to live, seems like a really bad idea. Should we study them? Of course. Is weather control as a goal inherently bad? No. But I do think we should understand it a little better before we attempt to modify it.
