Lindows misleading people, AOL not strategically involved

Some sites last week, MSN included, described a new PC coming out which carried a version of Linux which was capable of running Windows PCs, the Linux version is called Lindows. That is true. The PC they talked about coming out, backed by the mega-giant AOL, is false. AOL denies any connection with Lindows, and Lindows’ connection to Netscape is “paper-thin” as the article puts it.
