MandrakeSoft, makers of the infamous Mandrake-Linux, released the Golden Master of their newest distribution, Mandrake 9.0 (aka Dolphin). It includes the latest versions of the software previousely included in previous versions plus Linux Kernel 2.4.19, KDE 3.0.3, GNOME 2.0.1, OpenOffice 1.0.1, Mozilla 1.1, GCC 3.2, CUPS 1.1.15 — over 2000 packages in all. Also, and this is a biggie, they’ve added extended USB support. Well worth the download, or, if you have a dialup connection, the purchase.
