After a few days of catching up on Lockergnome housekeeping and a little rest and relaxation, here I am. Gnomedex was an absolutely fantastic time and I am thankful I had the chance to learn more about an industry that I have grown to appreciate and love. For the most part, I ran around like a chicken with its head cut off but was able catch Evan Williams’ discussion on Blogging and Leo Laporte’s moving speech pertaining to our rights as computer users. My only regret is not being able to take part in the other sessions.

As far as making new friends, I couldn’t be more satisfied. My think tank sessions with David and Rocky, the pure enjoyment of hanging out with Richard, Dirk, the Canadians, and speaking with others who freely shared their knowledge with me, has left me truly grateful. I wish I could list everyone but I only get so much space. :(

For those of you who couldn’t attend, I’ve heard rumors of a downloadable version coming soon, so keep your eyes peeled. Or simply start planning for next year’s event… I know I am.
