The online game community is being targeted by a keylogger worm called “PrsKey.a”, which is stealing their usernames and passwords for their online games. Now why on earth would someone want to access someone else’s online game account?
According to security expert Graham Cluely, with security company Sophos, “Criminals are stealing virtual assets like armor, money, and weapons to trade for hard cash in the real world. We are seeing a trend of more battles between Internet gamers and malicious code to assist with this kind of robbery.”
