I like the idea that YouTube is shooting for here, however I do have some concerns being they are struggling to keep their bandwidth bill from over taking them. Seriously, I think that they need to re-think the ‘ol business plan here.
Last I heard, mobile TV has been trying to get a kick start for sometime now. Perhaps this time with a valuable chunk of the UK’s radio spectrum up for sale we will see this become a more viable option for companies across the board?
So perhaps mobile TV will be hip before 2012? Some experts believe so, while many others are definitely not going to hold their breath. To be honest, I think it will come down to content. Make it available and easy to access, viewers will come.
