OK, so maybe AMD has gotten better with the processors that they are offering for notebook users. Regardless, even as someone who prefers AMD over Intel, it will be awhile before I believe that they can compete in the notebook world I’m afraid.

When you practically live on your notebook PC, having access to a decent wireless connection is a must. But since so many areas do not offer reliable wireless connectivity, it is refreshing to see that notebook manufacturers are understanding the value of wireless network independence.

OK, this is definitely an interesting fashion statement for your notebook computer.

You have to understand. A new notebook is an investment. So making sure that it is kept in a secure, well padded backpack is the only way to go unless you plan on having issues in the near future.

Eh, maybe in some areas this is true. But for Ma and Pa computer user, this is not accurate. Remember, I work with the average person everyday - I ought to know. Then again, maybe it is specific to certain areas?

OK, so Linux usage may not be explosive on home user front. But I must say that I too, feel that if users select the right distribution that their experience can in fact be a positive one.

This has ‘proprietary’ written all over it. Not really a laptop that I would be wanting to jump all over myself. Thanks, but no thanks.

Speaking as someone who owns what might be considered a ‘cheaper’ laptop, I think that the new models out there today are actually pretty darn competitive with some of the higher-end models that potential buyers might be considering.

Just because a set of speakers are small does not automatically mean that they will suck beyond belief. I think it is a safe bet that the speakers in this article qualify under this point.

A Dell notebook that does not resemble a tank? Sounds intriguing! OK, that was mean. But most of the Dells that I have seen are HUGE, people. So this leads me to ponder as to what Dell actually considers to be ‘lightweight’. Just my feelings on the matter. No hard feelings, Dell.
