Will people go for it? While I have no personal issue with this, I think a lot of it will have to do with how it’s presented to be honest.
Mobile gambling. Sounds cool, but I would not plan on seeing much of this in most of the US. Apparently adults here are not capable of making their own decisions.
Did the title catch you a little off guard? Don’t be surprised. It should be noted that women make up 59% of the cellphone gaming market and I suspect that this number is going to keep climbing.
Who’d thought it needed? Then again, I am willing to be that a portal dedicated to phone-based games will do quite well for itself…
I have been hearing predictions for sometime now that the mobile gaming market will eventually overtake both the PC and console gaming markets. At this point, I do not see this happening. After the game starts up, one immediately notes how lively the game environment is. You fight in swamps, deserts, icy worlds, and cities.
The objects in the environment all have […]
Some of you may have played Windows games like Torus Trooper to get over IT class when your handheld was empty. Anyways, by good luck and ill fortune, this link made it into Firefox.
Kenta Cho, the creator of Torus Trooper and other games discusses a few things about short, funky games and the Japanese market. […]
Virtual Pool Mobile is a reasonably new offering from Celeris. I’ve heard many rave reviews in forums about how great the game is, but I held off downloading it since I figured it would be “just another pool game for Palm.”
I took the plunge a few weeks ago and downloaded VPM. I began to play […]
