Softbank, Access develop mobile phone software

If this is half as good as it sounds, it could be a huge boost for the mobile phone software needs of thousands.
TOKYO (Reuters) - Japan’s Access Co. said on Thursday that it and Softbank Corp. have developed Internet browsing and email software for cell phones.
The software will be installed in mobile phones sold by Softbank, which this year bought the Japanese unit of Vodafone Group Plc., Access said in a statement filed to the Tokyo Stock Exchange. Softbank is Japan’s No.3 cellphone operator.
The models will become available as early as October 7.
