Verizon Debuts Chocolate Music

The name of this phone is stupid, however the design is most certainly not by any means. Sleek attractive and top of the line in many respects.

Verizon Wireless, the second-largest mobile carrier in the United States, announced on Monday its latest entry into the cell-phone-as-music-device sweepstakes with Chocolate, a phone from LG Electronics.

Chocolate borrows heavily from the ultra-popular iPod with a click wheel and a slim, spartan style.

The phone sells for $149 and the songs cost $0.99 if purchased from a PC, or $1.99 if purchased and downloaded over the air.

Users can choose from 1.3 million songs of Verizon’s V CAST Music online store. The device also includes support for V CAST Video, a 1.3-megapixel camera, Bluetooth capabilities, and a memory expansion slot. I have just bought the new white chocolate phone but i havent put music into it. I was looking on another site and it siad that the chocolate can only hold 30 songs, theyre really bad-mouthing the phone. Still, i wonder how much this little phone can hold?
