The World Cup is just around the corner and while the Yanks call it soccer, the rest of the world seems to better understand which main body part being used in this action packed game. If you’re one of the millions of world wide fans and you have to keep up with all the stats and have all the background information possible in your handheld, Resco’s got something for you.
World Cup Mobile 2006 will feature, “rich historical information, team rosters, portraits of famous players, information about tournament cities/locations, match calendar, statistics.” The online features include, “World Cup News from an Authorized Provider, Results, Cards and Goals Statistics, and Match Reports”. The charts, bios, pictures, and everything else about this program is just presented beautifully in typical Resco fashion.
Resco wants to make sure as many people get this program as they can, so it has made it available in all sorts of operating system flavors which include Windows XP/2000, Windows Smartphone, Palm OS, and Symbian (Series 60).
Since this is a European sport, for the most part, you’ll have to pony up about 15 EUROs. I’m sure Pocketland will accomadate USD. Enjoy the games, go Germany, and goooooooooooal!
