Mobile network GoTV and Nintendo superstar, Mario. What’s up with that? Could GoTV actually be onto something with the new Wii coming out or just reaching for ratings?

We’re a trifle late on this one, but Mobile television network GoTV has launched a series of four episodes featuring interviews with beloved games designer Shigeru Miyamoto and Nintendo superstar, Mario.

The episodes revolve around the New Super Mario Brothers for the DS, and run weekly between May 15 and June 5 on GoTV’s Hip Hop Official, the video game and hip-hop channel; ALTitude, the rock music channel; and GoTV Superchannel, the eponymous flagship package.

Thrill! as Miyamoto dishes on behind-the-scenes stuff. Be Amazed! while Mario enthuses about his brand new adventurers rescuing that peachy princess from tyrannical turtlemonsters. Says our mustachioed man-about-town:
