Sirius is bringing it’s Marine Weather Service to the 48 contiguous states as well as to the extending waters of the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, Gulf of Mexico as well as the Caribbean. With the new service, boaters will be able to get advanced forecast information such as WSI NOWRad weather radar, track storms, render sea surface temperatures, wind, wave heights and much more all using the Raymarine SR 100.

“This is the first time that SIRIUS is integrating a data information service into marine electronics products, and we are very pleased to be working with Raymarine to make this service a reality,” said Larry Pesce, SIRIUS Senior Vice President of Services. “Our extensive nationwide satellite footprint, combined with our ability to cover hundreds of miles off the U.S. coasts, makes our service unique to boaters. Our current offering will provide no less then 14 data elements ranging from weather radar to buoy reports. Pricing will range from $29.99 for the base Mariner package to $99.99 for the Professional.”
